paidAffiliate disclosure. The partner link in the masthead and in the bands beside the copy on this page is a sponsored link to a partner operator, and this site may be paid if you open an account through it, at no extra cost to you. It carries rel="sponsored noopener" and opens in a new tab. That matters on this desk in particular: the subject is what a second company does with a reader’s money, and this site’s own revenue depends on a reader opening an account. No wallet and no operator is named, rated or recommended anywhere on this site.

About this desk
This site is the fifty-ninth in a series of narrow factual desks, one per subdomain, each owning one mechanism. This one owns the second account a payment creates.

Direct answerWallet Desk explains what a licensed payment wallet is, what the balance it holds really is, what it charges at each hop, what must be proved to it a second time, which of its controls reach a gambling account and who answers when something goes wrong. It rates no wallet and no operator.

Why this desk exists, and what it refuses
01Why this desk exists
The series had twelve desks about money before this one and none of them asked what happens
between the two accounts. A payment desk owns the rails, a dispute desk owns the reversals, an FX
desk owns conversion inside an account and a custody desk owns whose money an operator balance
is. The wallet is the fourth party all four of them assume.
02How the figures are made
One sample account is defined on the numbers page, and every figure
elsewhere on the site is derived from it by a formula shown beside the number. No real company’s
fees, terms or results are quoted anywhere, which keeps the arithmetic testable and keeps the site
from asserting something about a live business on its behalf.
03What it will not do
It rates no wallet and no operator, recommends none, and publishes no ranking or comparison
table. It describes no system or method for improving a result, because there is none to describe.
It is explanatory content for adults, and it is not legal, financial, tax or gambling advice.
The rules this desk follows
- One mechanism per desk: this one owns the second account a payment creates.
- One sample account per desk, published with its assumptions, so every figure can be re-derived.
- No rankings, no reviews, no recommendations, no tips, and no named competitor’s figures.
- Compliance rendered by the layout on every page: disclosure, 18+, and the risks stated plainly.
About the partner link. Every call-to-action on this site points to the same disclosed partner, with rel="sponsored noopener". The site may be paid if a reader opens an account through it, at no extra cost to the reader, and the disclosure band sits above the copy on every page rather than in a footer.
